Now that international travel is opening up once again, many people are starting to consider their next holiday destination. In fact, if you’re thinking of ticking off an”I have always wanted to visit” location from your travel list then you’re far from alone. There are plenty of exotic destinations that people consider however many people are looking at how to find holidays to Kerela, India and other parts of the world worth seeing – here are some tips for booking a holiday to India.

Get Organised

Before booking a holiday to India, or indeed anywhere you need to get organised. Checking things like holiday entitlement at work, the validity of passports and even what requirements are needed to enter a country are a must; now more so than ever. It is also worth looking at travel insurance options because if the last couple of years has taught us anything it is that things are changeable, particularly with travel.

Do Your Research

Whether you’re travelling to India or elsewhere, research before you go is also essential. Looking up what the weather is likely to be like and what sort of dress code would be expected of you is really important when visiting parts of the world with different cultures. Research also lets you see what tourist attractions, venues, events and even restaurants you might want to try while you are there- and allow you to visit at the right time of year to fit all of this in.

Being Savvy When You Book

Travel costs can vary massively so being savvy when booking is a must -for example, the time of day that you fly to India can make a massive difference, as can the day of the week you choose to fly. Hotels have different packages and costs. Don’t rush to book, instead spend some time playing around with days, times and possibilities to make sure that you find the best package for you and your travel needs.
