If you want to have more money, you need to have an understanding of where your money is going now. Most of us have a rough idea of what we spend each month and where we spend it, but realistically if we looked at it in any real detail we’d be surprised at just how much we waste each month.
Challenge yourself to have an honest look at how you have spent your money over the last 3 months, go through bank statements and look at your PayPal account to understand what you have spent and where. It is a good idea to put all of this in a spreadsheet so you can track it and work out where you might be able to save some money.

Side hustle might be a new term to you, but if you give it a Google you’ll see it’s definitely going to be a well-used term in 2022. Find some instagrammers to follow or some forums to join that share different side hustle ideas with you – you can often get friends and family involved & bump up your earnings using affiliate schemes and referral bonuses.
Declutter
Lots of us are guilty of holding onto items for longer than we need or indeed having them clutter up the house even though we’re never likely to use them again. Create space in your home by getting rid of these items, however rather than just throwing them away take advantage of one man’s trash being another man’s treasure and sell the items, which can help you to raise some extra funds – win, win!
